Question

Could you explain what a Chilla is? We hear that the great Awliyas did Chilla and the current day Tableegis/Wahabi deviant sects do chilla for 3-7-21-40 days.

JazakAllah khair

Answer

Chillah is a word that refers to the seclusion of a person in order to become increasingly conscious of Allah and to defeat the desires of his nafs. The Sufi Scholars have practised seclusion from worldly affairs for many years; they meditate and constantly remember Allah during these periods. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ practised this in the cave of mount Hira, before the first revelation was revealed. Thereafter, he peace and blessings be upon him became engaged in the propagation of the one and only true religion of Allah.

Allah knows best why it is specifically forty days; however, there are indications in the Quran and Sunnah regarding the significance of forty days in the development or occurrence of change in a human being.

For example, in the Saheeh of Imam Bukhari, it says that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“Indeed, one of you (a human being) is collated for creation in his mother’s womb in forty days; then he is a clot of thick blood for the same period (forty days) and then a piece of flesh for the same period (forty days) and then Allah sends an Angel who is ordered to write four things. The Angel is ordered to write his deeds, provision, death and whether he will be fortunate or unfortunate. Then the rooh is blown in to him.”

This indicates the significance of forty days in the development of a human being in the very beginning of his/her existence.

In the Sunan of Imam Al-Tirmizi, it says that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ:

“He who sincerely performs Salah for forty days for Allah in congregation with attaining the first ‘Takbeer’, two freedoms are written for him: freedom from the fire and freedom from ‘nifaaq’ (hypocrisy).”

This also indicates the significance of forty days playing a role in the change of one’s character and spirituality. After forty days of continuous worship, the Honest and Truthful Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave glad tidings of the removal of hypocrisy from his/her heart and thus, from his/her character.

In Nuzhah Al-Majaalis, there is an incident of a man who fell in love with a pious married lady. She advised him to perform Salah for forty days continuously without missing the first Takbeer, for the sake of Allah. This resulted in the man falling in love with Allah upon completion and leaving the Dunya (worldly pleasures).

When the All-Wise, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’aala, promised Sayyiduna Musa (upon him be peace) with divine revelations, it was a promise of forty nights. Sayyiduna Musa (upon him be peace) left all the worldly affairs and secluded himself in the mountain for forty nights. It is said that in this period, he never spoke to anyone but Allah.

In Surah Al-Baqarah, it says:

“And remember when we promised Musa forty nights”

In Surah Al-A’raaf, it says:

“And we promised Musa thirty nights and we completed it by adding ten. So his Lord’s promise became a complete forty nights”

These are some of the indications for the significance of the number forty in our development and change. As for the numbers three, seven, eleven and twenty one, they possess significance from the Quran and Sunnah; they are witr (odd numbers) numbers and Almighty Allah is witr and loves the witr.

As for the Tableeghi Jamaa’at and Wahaabis, they are deviants; many of them have reached the boundaries of kufr and surpassed them. The Wahaabis are now widely known for their extremism and blasphemous comments against the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and other great personalities from amongst our pious predecessors. The Tableeghi Jamaa’at are a deceitful group that propagate the ideologies of the Wahaabis and Deobandis behind a veil of false Sufism.

The instigators of this movement are the leading scholars of the Deobandi school, who have written in their books that: there is nothing special in the knowledge of the Prophet; knowledge like this is possessed by Tom, Dick and Harry and by all animals; the knowledge of shaytaan is far more than the knowledge of the Prophet; if there is another prophet after our Prophet then it will not affect the finality of our Prophet, even if the new prophet appears here (in India); Muhammad and Ali have absolutely no power or authority at all;  to think of our Prophet in Salah is worse than thinking of an ox or a donkey; if one thinks of the Prophet in his Salah then it will break, but if one thinks of a donkey then it will not break; Allah can lie and all Prophets and Messengers are worthless; a follower can apparently excel the Prophet in deeds, and it is fine to change the Kalimah to - ‘there is none worthy of worship but Allah and Ashraf Ali is Rasool-Allah’ – (referring to Ashraf Ali Thaanwi, one of their leading scholars known as Hakeem Al-Ummah).

The above reveals just a few statements from the many blasphemous and filthy comments, statements and beliefs made by their leading scholars, which are being published to date by themselves - may Allah protect us from such blasphemous beliefs! If one does not believe it, (it is hard to believe how one can be so hypocritical and foolish, but shaytaan knows no boundaries) then one should go to an Aalim of the correct Ahl Al-Sunnah Wa Al-Jamaa’ah and he will show you from their books. These Deobandis and Tableeghies are more than happy to celebrate Christmas, Easter, Diwaali etc with all the other religions, but they refuse to celebrate the Mawlid of the Master of All, Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him.

There are many from amongst their general public who do not hold such beliefs, but they do hold highly and dearly respect the leading Scholars who made these statements. This is just like holding highly Abu Jahl and yet claiming to be a Muslim. In order to believe in the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, one must renounce Abu Jahl in the same way as one must renounce shaytaan to believe in Allah. How can one highly respect shaytaan, Abu Jahl, Ashraf Ali Thanwi etc and yet claim Islam?

The founder of this deobandi movement Tableeghi Jamaa’at is Ilyas Kaandhalwi, who throughout his life supported the beliefs of the Deobandi and Wahaabi school - and why wouldn’t he? - For he was from amongst them! His mission in this movement was to propagate the ill-beliefs of the Deobandi School but behind the veil of Sufism. This was simply because the whole of the sub-continent was Sufi and would not accept such deviant and blasphemous beliefs very easily, if stated openly. If one wishes to know the truth about the Tableeghi Jamaa’at, then he should refer to the book Tableeghi Jamaa’at written by Allamah Arshad Al-Qadiri (may the mercy of Allah be upon him).

The significance of their Chillah being forty days or three, seven, eleven or twenty one days is part of the deceitful veil of false Sufism. One must stay away from these people and must not fall vicitim to their false calls towards their false ‘salah’ and congregations. How can one compare the Chillah of the great Sufi Scholars - who abstained from all worldly affairs and engaged in the remembrance of Allah - with those people who gather in a Masjid and use the sources of energy that has been Waqf in the path of Allah and eat, drink, urinate, excrete, sleep and at times, sit in circles of education where the teacher is a Jaahil from amongst them?

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ warned us of such groups that will roam the earth and invite to good, whereas, in reality, they will be calling towards the fire of Hell - as has been recorded by Imam Bukhari in his Saheeh and narrated by Sayyiduna Huzayfah (Allah is pleased with him). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also warned us that they will be good speakers; they will recite the Quran, but it will not go below their throats and the beliefs (which they falsely claim) will not go below their throats;  their Salah will make true Muslims look down at their own Salah; they will exaggerate in worship and in following the Sunnah; they will be weak in understanding (so when you confront them or question them, they will claim ignorance); they will deeply absorb religion but in reality will have nothing from it; and they will label the true Muslims with shirk, using the verses Allah revealed against the idols and idol worshippers etc.

Therefore, it is necessary upon all Muslims to stay away and keep their family away from such false movements. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

“Indeed, this knowledge is religion, so be careful who you take your religion from.”

And Allah knows best.

A prominent scholar of the Ahl as Sunnah, Mawlana Sayyid Ahmed Saeed Kazmi (Anwar ul-Uloom, Multan) writes:

“On the issue of Takfeer [ruling someone as an apostate], our stance has always been that, whosoever utters words of Kufr we shall not refrain from pronouncing Takfeer against them; whether they be Deobandi or Barelwi, follower of the League or the Congress, Nechari [naturalists] or Nadwi. On this issue we shall not differentiate whether someone is a friend or a foe.

This certainly does not mean that if one follower of the League utters a word of Kufr, all the followers of the League are Kafir; or if one Nadwi committed Kufr that all Nadwis are apostates. We do not declare all the residents of Deoband as Kafirs due to passages of Kufr written by some Deobandis.

We and our elders have repeatedly said that we do not decree any resident of Deoband or Lucknow as a kafir just because they live there. According to us, only that person is a kafir who commits insults against Allah, His Prophets and the chosen people of Allah and despite repeated warnings, does not repent. We also consider those people to be kafir who are aware of such Kufr and are aware of the clear meanings of these insults, and despite this they consider the insults to be the truth, the insulter to be a believer and their leader.

And that is it.

Apart from this, we do not declare anyone who claims to be a Muslim as an apostate. The number of people we have ruled as apostates are very few in number and restricted [to a specific issue]. Apart from these specific individuals, no Muslim from Deoband or Bareilly is termed an apostate. Neither are [Muslim] followers of the League or or the Congress. We consider all Muslims to be exactly that – Muslims.”

The Deobandi Faith Murdered!

Those who have read Taqwiyat Ul-Iman and (Ashraf Ali Thanvi’s) Bahishti Zewar are aware of the fact that according to the Deobandi School, seeking assistance from the graves is Shirk Jali (absolute polytheism). But now read the belief they have for the graves and tombs of their own elders – extracted from the book Tarikh Mashaikh Chisht, written by none other than the Deobandi ‘ShaykhUl-Hadith’ of Saharanpur, Zakariya Sahib Deobandi.

While writing about the demise of Mianji Noor Mohammed Jhanjhanvi, who was the Shaykh of Haji Imdadullah Makki, he quotes Haji Sahab that his Shaykh (while in his fatal disease) said to him:

I wanted to put you into toil and exertion (of spiritualism), but I cannot go against the will of God - the call of my last journey has arrived. When Hazrat Sahib uttered these words, I (Haji Imdadullah) burst into tears. Hazrat comforted me and said that a saint does not die, but rather he moves from one world to another. The same benefit will be derived from the grave of a saint, as was during his lifetime.

Read one more extract regarding the grave of Mianji Noor Mohammed Jhanjhanvi – from his biography which is published by Idara Talifaat Ashrafia in Thana Bhavan, the preface of which is written by Qari Mohammed Tayyeb Sahab, the principal of Darul Uloom Deoband. The writer says:

Even after the demise of Mianji Noor Mohammed Jhanjhanvi, the same spring of bounty flows from his honourable soul and according to his own words, the same beneficence which used to be received from his angelic personality is derived from his grave.

So in order to prove that the same benefits do accrue from Mianji Noor Mohammed Jhanjhanvi’s grave after his demise, the writer of the biography, Sawana-e Hazrat Mianjev Pg. 79 quotes the following event:

Haji Imdadullah Makki once said that there was a weaver among the disciples of Mianji Noor Mohammed Jhanjhanvi. After the death of Hazrat, the weaver paid a visit to the mausoleum of Hazrat Sahib and after offering Fatiha, he pleaded that he was very disturbed and was living a life of poverty. He received a reply from Hazrat Sahib that he will get two annas (Indian currency coins) daily from his grave. Once when I visited the mausoleum, I found him there. After narrating the whole event to me, he said that he receives the promised amount from the foot of the grave every day.

Now please be fair! It is clearly stated in the famous books of the Deobandi sect - namely Taqwiyat Ul-Iman, Bahishti Zewar and Fatawa Rashidia - that seeking help by paying a visit to a mausoleum and requesting the saint to help in times of troubles and calamities is blatant polytheism. But now you can see that in this whole event, the verdict of polytheism has been accepted as part of faith!

Now you can yourself decide that when there is such a thick cover of hypocrisy on the face of the sect that it hides the doctrines of its own faith, how difficult it is to identify them. So in order to save the general public from the evils of this double faced religion, the scholars of Ahlus Sunnah School felt the need to educate the people time and again regarding the features of their hidden face, so that they be saved from falling into their trap.

Published in Deobandism

A point that remains to be clarified is – why is the attitude of the Ahle Sunnah scholars, so severe against the Deobandi sect? There are a number of reasons for it – they must be read and understood with a cool mind.

Reason # 1 - Their Infidelity

The first and foremost reason is the infidelities and blasphemies of the Deobandi scholars – these are actually the fundamental differences – these heretic beliefs are written in their books and are ingrained in the hearts of the Deobandis.

Reason # 2 - Difficulty in Identification

As far as actions are concerned, they too call themselves Hanafi, and apparently they offer Salaah (prayer) as we do. Their call of Salaah, Salaah of Eid etc. is the same as ours. In short, there are no outward signs with which the simple Muslims can identify/recognise them. There is every possibility that simple Muslims will misunderstand them. Therefore it was necessary that the beliefs of the Deobandi School be presented clearly to the masses, in order that there is no difficulty in identifying them.

As far as Shias are concerned, their call for prayers, their mode of prayer etc., are vastly different from that of Sunnis – they are easily identifiable. The same is the case of the Non-Abiders (Ghayr Muqallid). Their compulsory prayers, Witr prayers, Taraweeh and Eid prayers clearly warn others that they have different beliefs. Therefore the need to warn people of such deviated sects is not as urgent as is the need to educate them about the deviant Deobandis.

Reason # 3 - Their Methods of Corrupting the Faith of Sunni Masses

They are very good impostors. By entering the ranks of our Sunni masses, and impersonating to be on our side, they bring people close to them through various tricks - and when they deduce that they have been successful in doing so, they inculcate respect and adoration in their hearts for the elders of the Deoband School. Thereafter they change them to such an extent that they begin to abhor all the beliefs and customs, which were dear to them like their faith - and consider them polytheism and heresy! Within a few days, their hearts get sealed with such wretchedness that they are not prepared to listen to any reference either from the Qur’an or Hadith. It should be noted very clearly that I am not writing this from imagination. Rather these are our daily observations.

In such circumstances, there is no other way left to save the simple masses from going astray from the Straight Path followed by the Beloved Prophet şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam and the saints, but to educate them about the filthy beliefs of the Deobandi sect, and their deceits and fraud.

Reason # 4 – The Hypocrisy of the Deobandi Sect

Going through the traits of Deobandi sect, it becomes very clear that they are truly the inheritors of the traits of the hypocrites mentioned in the Holy Qur’an. For instance, the hypocrites were double-faced. One face was meant for their own group whilst the other was for the honourable Muslim Companions of the Beloved Prophet şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam. The Holy Qur’an has narrated this trait of theirs in the following words: -

And when they meet with the believers, they say, “We believe”; and when they are alone with their devils, they say, “We are undoubtedly with you, we were just mocking!”

Surah Al Baqarah, Ayah 14

The same is the case with the Deobandi sect. They too have two faces – one for the faithful followers of the Beloved Prophet şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam and the other for members of their own group.

al-Muhannad ala al-Mufannad

The official Deobandi Aqida Book, al-Muhannad ala al-Mufannad [The Sword on the Disapproved] (1323 A.H./1905 C.E.), was written by Khalil Ahmad Saharanpuri (d.1927) in order to vindicate the Deobandis from the charge of unbelief [kufr] levied against them by 33 top-ranking scholars from the Meccan and Medinan sanctuaries. The verdicts, testimonials, and comments of these venerable scholars and muftis were compiled into one famous book, Husam al-Haramayn [The Sword of the Two Sanctuaries]. The fatwa of kufr, Al-Mo’tamad Al-Mustanad [The Reliable Proofs], is also part of this compilation.

Al-Muhannad ala al-Mufannad was written after Rashid Ahmad Gangohi’s death in 1905, and allegedly expresses the beliefs of the Deobandi school. This book readily overturned many of the legal responses given by the late founder of Darul Uloom Deoband. For instance, Gangohi and Khalil Ahmad in al-Barahin al-qati‘a [The incontestable proofs] affirmed that it is possible for Allah to lie, and denied the Prophet, may blessings and peace be upon him, knowledge of the unseen [‘ilm al-ghayb]. They went so far as to declare this belief polytheism [shirk]. The latter maliciously insulted the Best of Mankind, may blessings and peace be upon him, by saying his knowledge was inferior to Satan (the worst of creation) and the Angel of Death. Yet in al-Muhannad ala al-Mufannad, this same man reversed their stance on Allah Most High lying and knowledge of the unseen.

Top ranking Ahle Sunnat scholars from Arab lands endorsed the Deobandi Aqida Book because it affirms the beliefs of the Saved Group. Khalil Ahmad did notattempt to rationalize their heterodox opinions because four of the said Arab scholars from Mecca and Medina declared those statements to be unbelief. For example, Shaykh as-Sayyid Ahmad al-Barzanji (Mufti of the Shafiis in Medina), may Allah have mercy on him, wrote in his eulogy of Husam al-Haramayn that the statement in al-Barahin al-qati‘a is blasphemy for two reasons:

“The first reason is that Devil has more extensive knowledge than the Prophet, may blessings and peace be upon him, and it is a clear belittlement of the Holy Prophet, may blessings and peace be upon him. The second reason is that he has termed the extensiveness of the knowledge of the Holy Prophet, may blessings and peace be upon him, as polytheism. All the leaders of four schools of thought have made clarifications that whosoever belittles the Glory of the Holy Prophet, may blessings and peace be upon him, is a disbeliever and whoever declares anything belonging to Faith as polytheism and unbelief is unbeliever also.”

According to the venerable Shafii Shaykh, the Deobandis used a false precedent (khalf al-wa’id) to establish “the proposition of the possibility of falsehood or lie” for Allah Most High! This is why Khalil Ahmad presented a fatwa that contradicted their unofficial belief. Khalil Ahmad affirmed their “Sunni-ness” by formally recanting their statements of disbelief. Thus, one will not find him justifying their kufr in al-Muhannad ‘ala al-mufannad. In point of fact, he said:

“It is our belief that whosoever says that so and so is more knowing than the Holy Prophet, may blessings and peace be upon him, is a polytheist, and our elders have pronounced fatawa of polytheism against a person who says that Shaitaan, the accursed, is more knowing than the Holy Prophet, may blessings and peace be upon him” (al-Muhannad ‘ala al-mufannad).

And,

“He who deems or declares the knowledge of the Holy Prophet, may blessings and peace be upon him, to be equal to the knowledge of Zaid and Bakr (i.e. any man) or animals or madmen is a through polytheist” (al-Muhannad ‘ala al-mufannad).

However in 2007, Nuh Keller with the help of Hamza Karamali personally verified that the Deobandi Shaykhs did, in fact, utter such “repugnant and unacceptable” words. Words that were unprecedented in the history of Islam, even to make a point. This information has reached us through a continuous mass testimony of Muslims so that is it impossible for them to agree upon error or to simultaneously lie. Of course, some Deobandis will blatantly deny this well-established fact and try to conceal the kufr of their elders, especially when confronted with a person who has not read their infamous books or is unaware of the facts. Apologists use a more sophisticated approach, and mislead the Sunni masses by denying the meaning of their explicit insults.

To summarize, the Deobandis had to publicly withdraw and repudiate their own statements of disbelief in al-Muhannad ‘ala al-mufannad. The Haramayn Ulama did not alter their opinion about the nature of such ugly words. Khalil Ahmad and Thanwi had to concur with Imam Ahmed Raza, may Allah have mercy on him, in order to get their school reinstated. Husam al-Haramayn is an authentic book written by a truthful and conscientious scholar. These Wahhabi doctrines are unbelief, and lead to the Fire of Hell. Beware of them and the groups enamored with them.

Unfortunately for the umma in our day, the statements of disbelief penned by the scholars of Deoband are still being promulgated on the World Wide Web, which means Deobandi authorities did not renounce their unbelief. They have also failed to condemn (as is wajib for them), and actually still keep on their syllabus and disseminate in all languages the works of Ismail Dihlawi (d. 1931), the originator of most if not all of these heretical errors.

The way forward is to leave these insulting words and aberrant beliefs behind us by affirming the true creed of the Ahle Sunnat wal Jama’at. Real Deobandis and their apologists are worthy of disassociation.

If you want to see a living example of the above, go to Delhi. A very famous person by the name of Jamil Ilyasi resides here who is a staunch Deobandi Tableeghi. The addition of the term Ilyasi is sufficient to portray his complete background. On the one hand, he is such an active preacher of Deobandism and Tableeghi Jamaat in Delhi that it is highly unlikely that there is any mosque in Delhi of which he is member of, which he has not turned into a camp of the Tableeghi Jamaat. But now learn the other side of picture and lament - that there is not a single Mausoleum of the twenty Khwajas of Delhi at which he is not present on the occasion of Urs. When the late Rajiv Gandhi became the Prime Minister for the first time, Jamil Ilyasi was the one who placed the floral wreath on the grave of Khwaja Muinuddin Chishti on his behalf. Another more interesting fact is that when the late Mrs. Indira Gandhi was removed from her post and was passing her life in the abyss of defeat, Jamil Ilyasi approached her - and like a soothsayer who could see the future, advised her that there is only one person on earth who could restore her rule – and that person is Hudur Ghawth Ul Adham Shaykh Abdul Qadir Jilani whose sacred mausoleum is in Baghdad. Indira Gandhi did not want anything else. She immediately arranged for his trip and Jamil Ilyasi set off for Baghdad. He remained in seclusion at the holy shrine for fifteen days – and upon returning he informed her that he had received the good news from the shrine that her (Indira Gandhi’s) rule would be restored within 9 months.

Now please be fair – can someone wage a war more intense against his or her own faith, except the followers of the Deobandi faith? They, according to their own terminology, have “worshipped” graves and accepted those as “faithful” who according to them have spread polytheism. Now you yourself decide – how difficult it is to avoid people who have so many faces. They portray a different face in Deoband and Saharanpur – and a different one in Baghdad and Ajmer.

There is a fraudulent argument, which they give. They blame scholars of Ahlus Sunnah for branding others as disbelievers. This shows the helplessness of insolent people. They lack moral courage to seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty and His Beloved şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam for their printed insulting words and arrogant attitude (referring to the works Taqwiyatul Imaan, Tehzeerun Naas and other books). They should refer to these words clearly because the Prophet of Allah şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam says,

"When you do a wrong thing, you must immediately seek forgiveness; secretly for your secret action and openly for you open action."

Imam Ahmad rađiyAllāhu ánhu in Zuhd and Imam Tibrani rađiyAllāhu ánhu in Al-Kabir, Imam Baihaqi rađiyAllāhu ánhu in Shuaib (Ul-Emaan) on the authority of Muaz rađiyAllāhu ánhu, son of Jabal rađiyAllāhu ánhu through a genuine Sanad.

BLATANT LIARS

These insolent people quote this verse,

"Those who would hinder (men) from the path of Allah and would seek in it something crooked: these were they who denied the Hereafter!"

Then they try to instigate the Muslim public by blaming the scholars of Ahlus-Sunnah for condemning many Muslims as disbelievers. Their allegation is that they have a machine, which prints the verdicts of disbelief only. Ismael Dehlvi has been called a disbeliever. More brazen-faced people go so far as to say that (May Allah Almighty forgive us from quoting) that Imam Shah Abdul Aziz rađiyAllāhu ánhu has been called a disbeliever, Shah Wali-Allah rađiyAllāhu ánhu has been called a disbeliever, Haji Imdad-Ullah rađiyAllāhu ánhu has been called a disbeliever and Mawlana Shah Fadlur Rahman rađiyAllāhu ánhu has been called a disbeliever. The absolutely shameless go beyond this and say that (May Allah Almighty forgive) Shaykh Mujaddid Alf Thaani rađiyAllāhu ánhu has been called a disbeliever.

In short, they mention the name of that person who is held in high esteem by the people they talk to. So much so that one of these impudent individuals went to Shah Muhammad Husain Allahabadi and wrongly alleged that His Holiness, Sayyiduna Shaykh-Ul Akbar Mohiuddin Ibn al-Arabi rađiyAllāhu ánhu has been called a disbeliever. May Allah grant a place in Heaven to the Mawlana in the highest Heaven! He acted upon the Quranic verse,

"O you who believe, if any wicked person brings you tidings, verify it."

He wrote a letter to ascertain the truth. In reply, a treatise named Anja-al-Deri Un Waswas-ul-Muftri was sent. On receipt of this treatise the Mawlana sent a letter of condemnation to the liar.

These insolent people always tell lies and the answer is the same which our Almighty Allah says,

"It is those who believe not in the Signs of Allah, that forge falsehood: it is they who lie!"

And Allah Almighty says,

"If anyone who disputes in this matter with you, now after (full) knowledge hath come to thee, say: 'Come! Let us gather together - our sons and your sons, our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves - then let us earnestly pray, and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie!"

O Muslims! It is not difficult to deal with this weak and fraudulent argument. Ask these people to give proof. There is no point in saying that such and such persons have been called disbelievers. They must give evidence. They must show the book, or the magazine or the Islamic verdict or any other document in which such a statement is contained. If they have any evidence, why don't they produce it? For which particular day are they waiting? They must give proof if they can. Obviously, they can't. Allah Almighty knows that they can't produce any documentary proof. See that the Holy Quran gives evidence that they are liars.

O Muslims! Your Almighty Allah Almighty says,

"Why did they not bring four witnesses to prove it? Since they produce no witnesses, they verily are liars in the sight of Allah."

O Muslims! There is no point in testing those people who have already been tested. A number of times it has happened that these insolent people have made a lot of fuss and noise, but they run away when some Muslim asks them to give proof. They could not face him. They are addicted to making fuss and noise. They want to cover the disbelief of those who have used insulting language for Allah Almighty and His Prophet şallAllāhu álayhi wa sallam by instigating the Muslim public by saying that the scholars of Ahl-E-Sunnat brand other people disbelievers without any reason. They may have said the same for the insolent people as well. O Muslims! These inventors of lies can't produce any proof. It is a fact: Falsehood has no legs of proof to stand upon.

Allah Almighty says,

"And that Allah will never guide the snare of the false ones."

The light of the truth is enough to expose their falsehood.

Almighty Allah says,

"Say (to them O Beloved Rasool): bring your proof (of what you state) if you are truthful."
